The Department of Arizona, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
Riders, is a Motorcycle Association located in VFW Posts throughout Arizona, and is made up of
members of the VFW and VFW Auxiliaries in good standing. We are a family oriented group of motorcyclists within the VFW
that
enjoy the pastime of motorcycling, and encourage our members to support
our military and veterans including other veterans groups.
We are an official committee within the VFW's Department of Arizona, and are composed of district-level VFW Riders Committees (Chapters) throughout the state. Due to our status as a committee of the VFW, we are forbidden by VFW directives from becoming a Motorcycle Club (MC) or joining the Arizona Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs (AzCMC). We do however, do what we can to support our local motorcycle community and are governed by our committee's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Our organization does not discriminate by class, race, nationality, or gender, but does require members to maintain membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars or one of its Auxiliaries.

The VFW Rider Mission
The VFW Riders' Mission is to safely share the pastime of motorcycle riding with other VFW members while providing a social atmosphere for VFW members who share the same interest. We
participate in events which are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the VFW, and we use
our association to promote and support the programs of the VFW and other
veteran’s organizations, including the Arizona Cottage of the VFW National Home for Children. We promote good standing in the local community by supporting charities, participating in community events, and supporting events which we deem are
beneficial and worthy to our local communities.
